The easiest way is to get a flight to Lisbon, Portugal (LIS). The retreat price includes the pick-up from the airport, so you don’t have to worry about organizing transport.
Additional activities and expenses at restaurants that are not part of the guided program, airfare, alcoholic beverages, and personal travel insurance are not included in the retreat package.
If cancelled up to three weeks prior to the retreat's beginning, we refund 100% excluding the booking and management fee of 150€. The booking and management fee can be used as a credit for another retreat, workshop or coaching at any time in the future. If cancelled up to two days before the retreat's beginning, we will unfortunately need to retain 50% of the overall retreat value, as expenses will have occurred. If cancelled less than two days before the retreat or if there is a no-show, we retain the full amount of the overall retreat value.
To reserve your spot, we kindly ask for a deposit of 50%. The other 50% is to be paid until two days prior to the retreat’s beginning. Please contact us for more detail on payment and cancellation policies.
You will stay in a renovated historical house located right in the center of town, less than one minute walking distance to the Fishermen's Beach. The house consists of several apartments with single rooms or shared double rooms. Depending on the room, you might share the bathroom with another participant. The top floor apartment has an amazing ocean view, where we will hold workshop sessions and share meals. And the cherry on top? The house is located next to an amazing coffee place where we can get our little energy boosters ;)
Absolutely! You and your co-worker(s) can book the retreat together and participate as a team. If you want to book this retreat as a group, please don't hesitate to contact us. We are also open to discussing the possibility of organizing a separate retreat specifically tailored to your team's needs and preferences.
Yes, the retreat is still suitable for you! The retreat is designed to accommodate participants of all experience levels, including beginners in surfing and skateboarding. Professional coaches will be there to help you learn the basics and feel comfortable on the water and skateboard. It's a great opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and embrace new challenges.
We encourage all participants to give it a try and surprise themselves with what they can achieve! But if you are still unsure about being on a board, please feel free to contact us. The primary focus of the retreat is personal and professional growth, and we offer various opportunities to cater to individual preferences and interests. We will work together to find the perfect way for you to make the most of the retreat.
A Surfskate session is a skateboarding session that replicates the movements and sensations of surfing. It utilizes a specially designed skateboard with a truck system that enables smooth, surf-like turns and maneuvers on flat ground. It's an excellent way to enhance your surfing abilities and balance while on land, and most importantly, it's a lot of fun!
No, there are no additional costs or hidden fees beyond what is mentioned in the package. The retreat package includes all the specified inclusions, such as workshops, surf and surfskate sessions, accommodation, meals, and airport transfers during the retreat. You can have a worry-free experience knowing that everything outlined in the package is covered in the stated price.
The primary language of the retreat will be determined by the participants. If all participants speak German, the retreat will be conducted in German. Otherwise, it will be in English. However, for Surf and Surfskate Sessions, English will be the primary language as the coaches are Portuguese speakers. Flexibility in language ensures an inclusive and engaging experience for all participants.
Yes, you may extend your stay at the accommodation before or after the retreat dates. Please keep in mind that this is subject to the availabilities of the house. Feel free to contact us, and we will be more than happy to help. If the house is not available for extension, we can also provide recommendations for other accommodations in the area.
Yes, for participation in surf and surfskate sessions, there are some health and physical requirements to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. Participants should have a basic level of fitness and be comfortable in water for surf sessions. Please feel free to contact us if you have any additional questions about this.
